After the success of a 132-day cruise that sailed from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, California in 2012, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced that it will be sailing a similar route in 2024. This year, the cruise line will take four ships and 2,362 guests on a 132-day journey that will cover the same cities that were covered in 2012, however it will take place on the East Coast of the United States, as opposed to the West Coast of the United States.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled their new flagship World Cruise, the “Empress of the Seas,” which is scheduled to begin on July 26, 2024. This is the first cruise ship to feature a swimming pool, which will be open to the public, and the largest at Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The ship will offer more than 1,000 cabins, several dozen restaurants, and three bars, an open-air lobby, a spa, a fitness center, and a library.

The 2024 World Cruise, a 132-night voyage that departs Miami on January 6, 2024 and visits Central America, the United States West Coast and Hawaii, the South Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and Bermuda, has been revealed by Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The trip will be operated by the Seven Seas Mariner and will last almost five months and cover 34,500 nautical miles before ending in Miami. The trip includes 442 free shore excursions, 12 in-port overnight stays, and Panama Canal and Suez Canal transits.
