Meanwhile, Harmonious will be the first. October opened in EPCOT. Disney said pyrotechnics, fountains, lighting and media will be used in new ways in the show, which will be held at the World Showcase Lagoon, to celebrate the unifying power of storytelling and song.
Visitors can expect new interpretations of classic Disney songs, reimagined in more than a dozen different languages with the help of 240 artists from around the world.

Remy’s Ratatouille adventure also comes out on the 1st. October in the newly expanded area of the French Pavilion. This family-friendly attraction is designed to make visitors feel reduced to the size of Chef Remy of the famous Gusteau restaurant. The opening will coincide with the debut of new restaurant La Crêperie de Paris, which will offer table service and quick service from a menu of sweet crêpes, savory buckwheat pancakes and authentic French hard cider.
Park visitors attending Disney’s 50th Anniversary Celebration this fall can also learn about new daytime entertainment at Animal Kingdom. Disney KiteTails will take place from Oct. 1 several times a day in the Discovery River Amphitheater, where performers will fly windcatchers and kites of various shapes and sizes representing Disney animal friends, such as Simba, Zazu, Baloo and King Louie, among others.

In addition, Disney announced Tuesday that Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale will be part of a new collection of special gold character sculptures that will be released on 1… October will appear at four Walt Disney World theme parks. There will be a total of 50 characters – called the Disney Fab 50 – that guests can interact with during the world’s most magical party.
